Membership

The AKMAF was founded by Grandmaster Michael Rhoades in 2011. Grandmaster Rhoades’ desire to create reputable sanctioning without the seemingly prerequisite politics were the driving force behind this inspiration.

Instructors and school owners who have been seeking a legitimate organization to be part of and to grow their school with can receive additional information on membership by contacting our Membership Director.

The process is simple: If you are looking to join an international, legitimate federation and to be able to have the freedom to promote your students and art along with a network of like-minded instructors and school owners, you have found it!

If you would like to become affiliated with the American Korean Martial Arts Federation simply fill out the application in the ‘Contact Us’ section of this website.

Any questions regarding transition from another organization to the AKMAF can be answered by your AKMAF Regional or State Director.
